Who’s AFROAGE?
Afroage is Africa’s premium online bookstore. It is an
online marketplace to buy, sell and publish African books. Afroage was built
from the burning zeal to fill up the lacuna causing poor documentation of African literature and research. It is a
company that believes that this is the African age [Afroage] because the
information age is has ushered this new age –Afroage.
Afroage is a frontier of digital
publishing in Africa. Afroage is using technology to revolutionalize reading,
publishing and book sales in Africa.
Justification:
Afroage is a mentality; a
philosophy, a contemporary way of life. It is an age for which Africa is
rewritten. Building this bridge to fill up the lacuna of lack of proper African
documentation, need not just one person but nations. In this note, Afroage Incorporated
is carrying out its internship program to raise Afroagians (An Afroagian is one that consciously believe that this is the African
age and acts accordingly).
Target:
Afroage Internship Programme
2018A (AIP2018A) targets young individuals with at least a secondary school
education or an equivalent intellect. Interns do not have to be computer
professionals but a burning zeal to learn. If they love it too, better.
